Rio Lempa Marching.

Posted by SKHallisey (San Salvador, El Salvador) on 8 March 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

I took this picture during a protest advocating the strengthening of levies along the Rio Lempa River, in El Salvador. The protesters marched from their affected communities to the capital, a walk of 90 kilometers. Among them were numerous people over the age of 65. It was quite amazing to see, and as time goes on, I will continue to post images from those days.

A big thanks to everyone who checks out my photos. If you are so inclined, I would appreciate it if you vote for my photo at the vfxy and/or cool photoblogs link. Once more, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy.

Please vote for me at the Photoblog of the Year contest. Thanks in advance!
