Four WomenPosted by SKHallisey (San Salvador, El Salvador) on 22 November 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. I took this picture on my way to a meeting in the Old City, Hyderabad. I have been in many 'poor' neighborhoods while in India. However, you can figure out different degrees of poverty by how many people are in the streets during working days. In some neighborhoods were the poverty is particularly stark, the streets are filled with men meandering about, with nothing really to do. This neighborhood was definitely more of a working class neighborhood, as the lanes were practically abandoned by day. I tried to convey that in this picture. A big thanks to everyone who checks out my photos. If you are so inclined, I would appreciate it if you vote for my photo at the vfxy and/or cool photoblogs link. Once more, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy. Please vote for me at the Photoblog of the Year contest. Thanks in advance!
