In Wonder, Awe, Disgust and Indifference.

Every Sunday a bunch of people get together and wack each other with plastic swords and dress up in medieval armor. People can get hurt, and on this particular day at this particular moment, there was someone directly behind me who had been hurt pretty badly. I got this shot, and I like it because each person had a completely different reaction to the other person's pain.

Its so great to capture those expressions at that moment! It just shows how individual we are and how we all react differently too the same thing. Marvelous! I agree with Monique, good choice of B&W here.

cool capture! at first i just thought they had weird expressions but with the explanation, very interesting indeed! it's a little disturbing that, that one guy's response to seeing someone hurt is licking his lips. he looks like he wants more.

@danthro: your right. i actually thought about saying he was 'in love' in the title, but i thought that was taking it a little too far. but no doubt, he is definitely enthralled in the action, and definitely the most engrossed by it. only the dude who was clearly disgusted was looking away slightly, directly at me
